Relief Valves

Specifically designed for Olympias pumps, these can be used as either a vacuum relief valve or pressure relief valve just by reversing the mounting configuration. Relief valves are essential for any application where excessive air pressure / vacuum could be beyond the parameters of the pump and could therefore overload the motor. The valves are designed for basic protection of the motor rather than fine control of pressure, for applications that require finer control please contact us for other options. They are compact and lightweight and can be easily set and adjusted. Unwind the adjustment nut so that the spring is under minimal tension and then wind the nut in, whilst monitoring the pressure, until the correct pressure is achieved.
